FinancesOSX - 2.2

FinancesOSX (Universal) calculates the value of any one of five parameters for five types of financial calculations: Loans, Investments, Deposits, Withdrawals and Inflation ... given values for the remaining four parameters. An amortization table is provided for loans.

Loans are the conventional installment loans with an initial loan amount to be paid back in regular payments over a fixed period of years at a specific interest rate.

Investments are an initial lump sum that grows over a period of years at a fixed rate, as in the case of investing a lump sum from an inheritance or winning the lottery.

Deposits are regular periodic deposits of a fixed amount into an account that grows at a constant rate over a fixed number of years, such as an investment club or a regular savings plan.

Withdrawals determine how long you can take a periodic fixed amount from an initial lump sum investment at a fixed growth rate before the account is totally depleted, answering the question 'How long will my life-long savings last after I retire?'

Inflation shows the effect of inflation on the purchasing power of a future $ amount in today's $ after a number of years at a estimated annual inflation rate. This provides some perspectives on the question 'What lifestyle will my accumulated savings support at some point in the future?' by bringing the future $ amount back to today's equivalent $ in the context of today's prices.

This application permits you to multiply your Dock settings.
You can duplicate, add or modify the settings of your Dock simply, and switch between current and other settings to use the one you need.
You can set the applications of the Dock, magnification, position and other options.
You can e.g. make one setting for developing, with your tools and editors of code, or one setting for graphic, with image editors, etc.
With DockMultiplier you can also manage Exposé.

Computer Glasses - 1.3.0

Computer Glasses lets you magnify a portion of the screen to read fine print or magnify an image. When you open Computer Glasses, you see a red circle. Click on the circle (magnifier) and drag it over the area to be magnified. As you drag the magnifier, you will see crosshairs. When you release the mouse, the area inside the area within the circle will be magnified. A small control panel lets you turn the magnifier on/off, select the magnifier shape (Rectangle or Circle) and change the magnification (Slight, Medium, Larger and Largest). You can shrink the control panel, move it out of the way on the desktop or minimize it to the Dock. You can close Computer Glasses by clicking on the control panel's (red) close button. The location of the control panel, the magnifier shape, and the magnification setting are saved between sessions.

Version 1.3.0 lets you minimize the Control Panel to the Dock, and show the magnification shape automatically (if hidden) when the Control Panel is restored. This change is intended to help a presenter using Computer Glasses.

This application permits you to run a screensaver as a desktop picture.
You can choose one of your screensavers and view it under your desktop.
DScreen has its personal preferences, so you can have one screensaver for it and the standard screensaver for default.
However you can select "Default" to use the some screensaver of the System Preferences.
DScreen didn't invent nothing, it only use a secret feature of ScreenSaverEngine (the application that play the screensavers) but without passing by the Terminal and so is very simple to use.
