Join Together - 5.1.1

This AppleScript Studio application will enable you to join the files of selected iTunes tracks together with QuickTime and export them as a single AAC file/track. Optionally, with Apple's ChapterTool application installed, you can then create a "chapterized" audio file of the exported AAC file with pointers to the individually joined tracks. Works with any kind of iTunes audio file and CD audio tracks.


What's new in this version:

* v5.1.1Fixes error when attempting to generate Genre names list from the XML file of a loaded multiple library (iTunes 7 or better)
* Prohibts every track of "Music" or "Audiobooks" playlist to be auto-selected (when no specific tracks in them are selected)

* v5.1Fixes problem with iTunes 7 that prohibited selecting tracks in the "Music" playlist
* Waits for QuickTime to fully load each file before proceeding
* Can select, join, and export AAC tracks converted to ".m4b" with the AppleScript "Make Bookmarkable" which appear in the iTunes 7 "Audiobooks" playlist--despite being listed as "Protected". (True "Protected" files, such as those from the iTunes Store, cannot be joined.)
