This application permits you to read a little part of a file at your preferred offset.
It's useful e.g. to know the kind of a very big file without any extension and the Type or Creator code (you can't open it with a text editor).
You just drag the file over fileSifter and view its contents to know if it's a JPEG, a FreeHand file or an application, etc.
You can also read an information placed at middle or at end of file, like EXIF data of a corrupted photo, etc.
And all data can be viewed as plain text and hexadecimal, decimal or octal value.
