MailWidget checks your Apple Mail account every time Dashboard is activated without having Apple Mail running all the time. It is able to check all your POP, IMAP, Exchange and .Mac accounts. Unlike other widgets MailWidget knows which mail from your POP account has been received in Apple Mail. That's especially interesting for those who do not have an IMAP account and therefore are not deleting their old mail from the POP mail server immediately in order to be able to read their last mails on travels via webmail. Other widgets would say something like "there are 88 eMails on the mail server" but only MailWidget will tell if there are new eMails that doesn't have been already received by Apple Mail.

Story:
Your spaceship sits on the wall enclosing the battlefield. Use the arrow keys to move your vessel. The battlefield resembles the racing grounds of "Tron." Your enemies are roaming the grounds. Your task is cutting off parts of the terrain. Hold down the Spacebar and move into the battlefield. As you reach the wall in a different spot you have cut off parts of the terrain. Your aim is to cut off more than 80% of the battlefield. When you enter the enemy's territory, you are susceptive to attacks by the enemy. On the other hand, you are able to kill enemies (or activate extras) by enclosing them. At the end of the game your lines will be converted into a 3D sculpture. The game l1neum stands in the tradition of 80 s arcade games like "Qix" and "Volfied."

D2X-XL is an enhanced version of D2X, the OpenGL modification of the classic 6dof shooter game Descent 2. D2X-XL is available for MS Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. It is well documented and maintained.
Although D2X-XL contains a lot of enhancements and new features, it is still fully backwards compatible to every other Descent 2 version. As many fixes restore features of the original Descent 2 that were missing in D2X (like availability of all cockpit views, or working mouse steering), it is even closer to them than D2X itself.

dead.licious is a tool for verifying that all of your bookmarks in your del.icio.us accounts are still valid and gives you the option of removing those dead links. Right now, the feature set is not as complete as I would like but I wanted to get this version out there to gauge interest in this kind of tool. FreeShare is a feature-rich, stable, safe and free client and server suite based upon the GNU General Public Licensed "Openline" source code. FreeShare's underlying architecture follows the original Hotline protocol. As such, it functions just like a regular Hotline client and server; and all original, or third party, clients which follow the Hotline protocol, should be able to easily connect to a FreeShare server.
While the FreeShare client and server are similar to the original Hotline software, the FreeShare suite enjoys a unique feature set which you will not find in the older Hotline, Openline and Underline releases.

"Unihan variants" are alternate forms of characters belonging to the "Unified Han," or "Unihan," section of the Unicode standard. TerraVista is a small application which displays the current day/night cycle of the earth using OpenGL. It uses textures made from satellite images for the day and the nightside to make it look realistic and the newest release also downloads real-time cloud cover images from the internet for an even more realistic experience.
The view location (i.e. the angle from which the earth is seen) can be customized either using a preferences dialog or by command-dragging the earth. The floating window which displays the earth can also be made translucent and the brightness of the nightside can be changed.

The aim of the DarwinPorts project is to develop a second-generation system for the building, installation and management of third party software. DarwinPorts is mainly developed on Mac OS X, however by design it is quite portable and is intended to work on other UNIX-like systems, especially *BSD and hopefully Linux-based systems.
DarwinPorts is probably best described by comparison: It's sort of like the FreeBSD ports collection or Fink in that it automates the process of building third party software for Mac OS X and other operating systems. DarwinPorts also tracks all dependency information for a given piece of software. In other words, it knows what it needs to build and install and in what order for the piece of software you want to work properly. DarwinPorts knows how to make, build and install the software to a specific location, meaning that software installed via DarwinPorts doesn't simply scatter itself all over the system or require user knowledge of dependencies in what order.
